The Lord’s Table – will be a part of our service this morning. We are privileged to understand the power of Jesus Christ’s death on our behalf. Please hold the communion elements until distribution is complete. We will partake together as the family of God.

Announcements

Monthly Mission Offering - will be collected this morning for the Work of God. Missionaries we support: Eliudi Issangya and the International Evangelism Centre in Sakila, Tanzania; Eric Mukwenda and the Maranatha Christian Centre in Arusha, Tanzania; Tia Ao and the Nagaland Bible Institute in Mokokchung, Nagaland, India; Eddie Santoro and Tikkun Israel in Jerusalem, Israel; Rick Pavlat and the YWAM base in Balut, Philippines; Rheo Loseo in Davao City, Philippines and Patrick & Barb Lataillade in Haiti. Please pray regularly for the Lord's anointing, provision, and wisdom to all of our ministry partners around the globe. Thank you.

Our First of 2012! On Wednesday, January 4, 2012 we will hold our first Wednesday of the month Prayer & Fasting Day. All are encouraged to set aside all or part of the day for fasting, meditation, scripture study, and intercessory prayer. We will come together for corporate worship and prayer in the Prayer Room beginning at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome!  

Bagel Brunch  We will be having a  Benefit Bagel Brunch  for Bruce and Vivian T on January 29th after the service. Bruce and Vivian lost their home during Hurricane Irene this past fall. We are asking for monetary donations to help them replace the many lost items, including appliances. Also, please remember them in prayer during this time of rebuilding.

Another Year of Prayer   Our annual "Adopt-A-Nation Prayer Project" was presented on December 11, 2011. Thank you to all who responded to the invitation to adopt a country for the coming year. Your consistent and compassionate prayer will continue to propel the preaching of the Gospel in nations where Christians are persecuted for their faith. Updates may be found at www.persecution.org

Greetings From Mokokchung, Nagaland   Tia Ao, Moa & Senti Jamir, and Mayang Ao send their enthusiastic Christmas greetings to everyone at Morning Star Christian Fellowship and Good Shepherd School. The students and staff at Nagaland Bible College and Nagaland Christian Residential School send greetings as well as sincere "thank you's" for our financial support.

Service Cancellations  due to inclement weather will be announced on WFGB, Sound of Life Radio, 89.7 FM, or www.soundoflife.org.  You can also check  our website, www.morningstarcf.org, or call the office to be added to the bulk email list. On questionable days, an announcement will be made either way.

 Kalingpong Women’s Seminar  On January 2, 2012 Both Tia Ao and Senti Jamir, our ministry friends in Nagaland, India, will travel to West Bengal State along the Bhutan border to participate in a week-long women's gathering. Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, and tribal women from the region will be invited. Senti is scheduled to speak eight times. Tia will be giving exhortations and testimonies of God's miraculous provisions and healing. Tia and Senti and the Nagaland churches have requested our prayer support. The women will return to Mokokchung on January 12.

Good Shepherd School now has 2012 Wall Calendars, Pocket Calendars, and Christmas Cards  available in the office. If you are interested, please see Julie or call 845-339-4488.

Donations To The Tape/CD Ministry -   suggested contributions of $1.00 per CD help defray the cost of production. Additional donations are welcome and also underwrite this valuable ministry. Thank you! Please drop in can on back table.

Umphang Orphanage  Doris Bracero sends Christmas greetings to all of us as well. The schedule at the orphanage has been full with preparation and outreaches for Christmas. Please pray for Doris' health and strength as she maintains a busy schedule with the children, staff, and outreaches.

No-Smoking Policy  Smoking is prohibited both within the church     building and also on church property. Thank you for your compliance in this matter. 

Lost & Found  items are usually placed on either the  resource table in the gym or on the coat rack in the hallway by the "Special Needs” restroom.

Care on Sunday Mornings is provided for toddlers (1-3 year olds) and is a tremendous help to those who have small children. Thank you to all those attendants & helpers who watch the children each week. Reminder that  parents & children come in at 11:00 a.m.
